On December 8, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Roberto Calzadilla Sarmiento, presented Letters of Credence to His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, with whom he also held a dialogue in the framework of continuing to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries in the areas of cooperation and understanding in the current circumstances.
The opportunity was propitious to positively assess the importance of the cooperation provided by the Netherlands to Bolivia in recent decades and to exchange views on the status and potential of our bilateral relations and the main issues that animate our interactions including energy, climate change and the worldview of living well. The presentation included a ceremony in which the new Ambassador was received at the Noordeinde Palace in The Hague, by a guard of honor of the Royal Police and a military band that sang the national anthem.
